Despite this politically charged environment that we are in, in Michigan, we are working together to make data-driven decisions that preserve the integrity of our voting system.

We are going to be a country that lives up to our ideals, stands up for the voice and votes of every citizen, and marches forward anyway.

It is not a partisan role, and despite it being an elected position, it is not a political role.
