Jocelyn Benson: “I absolutely signed up to put everything on the line to protect the will of the people and to protect our democracy.”

As governor, I will appoint new MDOC leadership, hold them to strict accountability standards, and sit down with officers, their union, and families to hear directly what they’re facing.

I've done that as Secretary of State. And notably, when my opponent lost his last statewide race in 2020, he did not stand by the will of the voters.

We will use every tool in our toolbox," Benson said Sunday on "Face the Nation with Margaret Brennan.

I'm really proud that our elections have been ranked among the most secure and accessible in the nation," Benson said.
