I cannot tell you how good he is, and how much I think he will do for America in education and in economic growth.

One of the main reasons we haven't done better... is the fact that the students and the teachers of America don't have a clear understanding of what they need to know.

Don't get the idea that America can't do it. We can do it if we work together.

I want to urge this committee--in my opinion, this is the most important committee in the Congress today.
