We actually need this type of investment, and that is because our State and our local units of government, they don't have the revenue to be able to provide for the staffing and the equipment that we need to better protect our people.

Democrats and Republicans are willing to work together to put you back to work.

I also think it is important for this Congress and Department of Homeland Security to focus on preventing terrorists from entering our country in the first place.
