Haley Stevens: “I rise from this Chamber here in the U.S. House of Representatives to recognize 44 days of fitness that has taken place…”

“I rise from this Chamber here in the U.S. House of Representatives to recognize 44 days of fitness that has taken place in a humble and independent gym called Burn Fitness. For 44 days, incredible people from across Oakland County have been participating in a fitness competition, engaging in spirited activities and spirited training, and I have been so pleased to be a part of that competition. We say all the time here in Congress as your Representative that we are really representing the best of Michigan. While I cannot be with you all tomorrow for the 45th day of this competition, please know that I am rooting for Sweet Caroline. I am rooting for her great final workout, and I know that she will make us all proud. ____________________”
