Commercial satellites are essential to our national security, our economy, and the daily lives of Americans, so we must ensure they are not vulnerable to attacks from cybercriminals and foreign adversaries.

I feel deeply honored to receive this recognition and I’m thrilled to celebrate this new community space alongside residents and partners.

I commend James Avery, Justus Thigpen Sr., and all the folks who are leading the charge on this revitalization project, and I was proud to be a federal partner in their efforts.
