You don't have a strategy. You don’t have a long-term plan to actually win this war. Win the war. The men and women are going to be able to do it, but they need to have leadership. When will you show leadership?

‘So, when you talk about why we invest in higher education, why do we invest in research universities, it’s those stories, those breakthroughs that make our lives better, and make our lives fuller, and can happen right here,’ Peters said.

Developing that workforce is critical not only to our national security, but also to Michigan’s economy and our ability to compete in an increasingly technology-driven world.
