The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of section 2, add the following new subsection: (c) Authority to Consult With Secretary of Defense.--In implementing section 1730D of title 38, United States Code, as added by subsection (a), the Secretary of Veterans Affairs may consult with the Secretary of Defense. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 105, the gentlewoman from Michigan (Ms. Slotkin) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentlewoman from Michigan.
