The farm bill before us has a $2 billion specialty crop program which provides a minimum of $200 million per year in USDA Section 32 purchases for nutrition programs. This new allocation of funds will provide much needed help for growers of fruits and vegetables. It has been a true privilege to work with the Senator to develop this new program.
