We have eliminated over 100 authorizations and programs that were duplicative, did not work anymore, and were not the right thing to do from a taxpayer standpoint. We have consolidated in a way that has not been done, I would argue, for decades in this area of policy. We have reduced the deficit by more than the last bill--$24 billion. I would ask colleagues to come together to keep this bill moving and to keep agriculture growing our economy and creating jobs. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The Senator from Mississippi.
