“If I might, in no way was this meant to show disrespect for the Senator from Virginia. We have worked very properly together. I was simply rising this evening to indicate that the original way to resolve this by including the Senator's amendment in the House bill is not something that is acceptable to other colleagues. That was the desire of the Congresswoman whose idea it was to name the building in her district. She feels very strongly about this, and I was indicating that for the Record. I don't wish to have more confusion. I very much appreciate the Senator from West Virginia allowing me a moment. But in no way was this meant to show disrespect for my colleague. We have worked very well together.”
