I ask in closing at the moment that we, at a minimum, withhold on this amendment; that we not proceed on this particular proposal to allow us on the Finance Committee to look at all of the options, to look at the facts, to look at what actually expands coverage, what actually lowers costs, and do this together. This is something we need to do on a bipartisan basis, and I hope we will do this in a very positive way so that when we are spending $8 billion, we know we are getting every single penny of value out of that for people who desperately need health care today.
