ATP has been a contributing factor in bringing together, and sometimes the most contributing factor in bringing together industries, so that instead of competing as they do on a daily basis, they can work together as an industry on behalf of American workers and American business to compete and create new efficiencies and new technologies so that we can be effective in keeping jobs here in America rather than having them be overseas. The ATP contributes to a valuable new culture of cooperation in U.S. industrial R&D.”
