I ask unanimous consent that the pending motion be set aside so that I may call up my motion, which is at the desk. The PRESIDING OFFICER. Is there objection? Without objection, it is so ordered. The clerk will report the motion. The senior assistant legislative clerk read as follows: The Senator from Michigan [Ms. Stabenow] moves that the managers on the part of the Senate at the conference on the disagreeing votes of the two Houses on the House amendment to the resolution S. Con. Res. 11 be instructed to insist that the final conference report not include the Medicare cuts in the concurrent resolution as agreed to by the Senate, which would substantially increase out-of- pocket healthcare expenses for senior citizens, and not include the Medicare cuts in the concurrent resolution as agreed to by the House of Representatives, which would end Medicare as it currently exists by turning it into a voucher-based premium support system and eliminate the guaranteed healthcare benefits earned by the people of the United States.
