Republicans are... trying to divide us. And we've got to stop letting them try to divide us.

They are firefighters, nurses, doctors, air traffic controllers, food inspectors, law enforcement, and public safety officials. They impact every part of our lives, and we take them for granted. We cannot hurt them. We must support them…

People do not understand how intertwined our two countries are.

I strongly urge our colleagues on both sides of the aisle to support H.R. 2482, and I yield back the balance of my time.
