One of the greatest titles in the world is parent, and one of the biggest blessings in the world is to have parents to call mom and dad. So it gives me great joy to stand here along with all my colleagues today to celebrate the thousands of moms and dads and children who have become bigger, stronger families through adoption. Last Congress, we passed several important adoption provisions. We doubled the adoption tax credit to $10,000 for all adoptions. We indexed that credit to inflation.
