The problems the gentleman identified are not dealt with at all here. Does this motion to recommit increase investment, create jobs, and raise wages? Does this motion to recommit create certainty in what is an uncertain Tax Code with this process? It doesn't. What this does is make our Tax Code more complex, makes American workers and American employers less competitive, and it will actually hurt our economy and stifle growth.
