What happened was Mr. Trump decided he'd rather, literally, he'd rather campaign on the issue than solve the issue.
The entirety of the system should be pointed at bringing kids back to a permanent, loving, stable home.
I think in particular, it would be a mistake for us to reauthorize without using the opportunity to elevate these relationships, specifically--and this has been referenced--in the area of worker rights.
