I have an amendment at the desk. The CHAIR. The Clerk will designate the amendment. The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 220, insert after line 16 the following: (E) The individual or (in the case of the covered periods described in subparagraphs (A) and (B) of paragraph (3)) an immediate family member of the individual paid a civil money penalty or criminal fine, or was sentenced to a term of imprisonment, for violating any provision of the Federal Election Campaign Act of 1971 (52 U.S.C. 30101 et seq.). The CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 172, the gentleman from Michigan (Mr. Levin) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Michigan.
