I am pleased to join my colleagues in the consideration of H.R. 4425, a bill to designate the facility of the United States Postal Service in Collegeville, Minnesota, as the Eugene J. McCarthy Post Office. Mr. McCarthy had many successes. He served as a politician. He served in the military. He taught and was an educator. He was one of our colleagues in the U.S. House of Representatives and later in the Senate. Ultimately, he entered the Presidential race to become President of the United States. Although he did not win that nomination, I feel strongly in urging the passage of H.R. 4425. I reserve the balance of my time.
