Obviously, I’m disappointed in that decision, which turned abortion issues back to the states.
It has not had an impact on the state of Maine, in that Maine has actually expanded its law.
I find this deeply troubling. Reports that women and people of color are disproportionately fired or sidelined create the impression that their service is not valued.
This is a long championed victory won by a resolute determined community that refused to give up.
