I would be glad to work with you, but FEMA needs to actually start recovering this money and making sure that the controls are in place so that when the next disaster strikes--and inevitably it will--the same thing does not happen again.

It is disturbing for me to hear Troy say that everything should be free, when in fact it’s going to be middle- and low-income taxpayers who are going to be paying the bill.
He’s the one that needs to respond to the reports. I’m not going to comment on them. But I will say that based on widespread reporting it appears that he struggles to control his temper.
They don’t have them yet. The orders were placed, but they couldn’t [process] the orders when the government was shut down.
Obviously, I'm disappointed in that decision, which turned abortion issues back to the states. It has not had an impact on the state of Maine.
