It appears that there is good faith on the Democratic side to try to pass the CR and avoid a government shutdown, which is always a disaster.

What appears to have happened is that there now has been ... somewhat of an increase of ICE activities before the additional training and body-worn cameras were deployed.

Obviously, I'm disappointed in that decision, which turned abortion issues back to the states. It has not had an impact on the state of Maine.

So, I hope we’ll take advantage of this opportunity to delay it.
