“What we are asking for, and we have received cooperation from the trade representative, Ms. Barshefsky, is for full interagency review. That is taking place today, and we are very appreciative of their cooperation in doing this. It has come to our attention that some of the agencies that are involved in the review feel like it may be necessary for that agency involved in the review, not USTR, to do an investigation of their own for over a 30-day period, maybe even with involving a trip to Japan for some investigating procedures. That is what we are speaking of. There is nothing to mandate that they go along with that or that they do that.”
