Donald Trump’s attacks on our democracy are only accelerating, and the best way that I can serve our state and country at this moment is by focusing exclusively on my role as Secretary of State.

To be clear, we do not believe that the Constitution or federal law give the Postal Service or the Trump administration the right to restrict who votes by mail.

Voter intimidation or interference is a crime, and we will hold the DOJ monitors to the same standards and expectations as anyone else who’s at the voting point on Election Day.

We see what the Postal Service is trying to do as direct interference in the 2026 election.
