the United States Air Force Reentry Vehicle Applications Program has been providing critical technologies required for the manufacture of reentry vehicles and components. Of special note is the meaningful program with both the prime and the sub-tier suppliers for the Mark 21 reentry vehicle. Funding for this program has advanced reentry vehicle technologies while sustaining the critical industrial base required to develop such technologies.
