The amendment, as modified, is as follows. (Purpose: To require Federal milk marketing order reform) At the end of part III of subtitle D of title I, insert the following: PART IV--FEDERAL MILK MARKETING ORDER REFORM SEC. 1481. FEDERAL MILK MARKETING ORDERS. (a) Amendments.--The Secretary shall provide an analysis on the effects of amending each Federal milk marketing order issued under section 8c of the Agricultural Adjustment Act (7 U.S.C. 608c), reenacted with amendments by the Agricultural Marketing Agreement Act of 1937 (in this part referred to as a ``milk marketing order''), as required by this section. (b) Use of End-product Price Formulas.--In carrying out subsection (a), the Secretary shall-- (1) consider replacing the use of end-product price formulas with other pricing alternatives; and (2) submit to the Committee on Agriculture of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry of the Senate a report describing the findings of the Secretary on the impact of the action considered under paragraph (1).
