Something has to be done to take care of our veterans, and it is a matter of priority. I served in the legislature for 22 years, and a lot of those years I served on the appropriations committee and we had to make the tough decisions. We had to live within a balanced budget because the Constitution of Maine requires that. So we had to prioritize. That is what this is all about, is prioritization. I do not think the priorities of this Congress and this administration are set in the right places. I think definitely the veterans are a top priority and we ought to take care of them.
