I believe this is critical not only because we owe it to the American taxpayers, but also because we owe it to the many GSA employees that work hard, follow the rules and deserve to be proud of the agency for which they work.

We see a decline in opioid use. We see a decline in suicide. And I think that is obviously good for the veteran.
And so our bill, the PAWS Act, takes these veterans, particularly the ones that have severe Post-Traumatic Stress, and authorizes a small amount of funding so that the VA can pair them with specially trained service dogs.
I greatly appreciate that we are all partners in promoting opportunities for veterans and in protecting their rights.
USERRA prohibits discrimination in employment based on an individual's prior service in the uniformed services, current service in the uniformed services, or intent to join the uniformed services.
