we are willing to work with the VA because I think the law is very clear in the first place that Congress passed is that VA will pay for full cost of nursing home care.

have you found it, among the individuals that you talked to, that it is a problem that the caregiver is not part of the clinical assessment process?
When the caregiver is going through the process, do they participate in the clinical assessment at the start of the process?
I asked the other panel--and there is no policy, or it is not in the rules, but are family caregivers able to participate in the in-person clinical assessment?
