We are here today to get an update from the Department of Veterans Affairs on the implementation of the Veterans Access, Choice, and Accountability Act of 2014.
I am very committed to this mission and to the cause and have spent a large part of my life either as a child growing up or as a trainee or student or as a provider in the system.
It is also a time for opportunity to really change the cultural structure within the department
If there are real and reasonable roadblocks to implementation, we need to know what they are and how to fix them.
