The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of subtitle E of title X, insert the following: SEC. 10__. ELIMINATION OF DISCRETION OF MILITARY CHAIN OF COMMAND AND SENIOR CIVILIAN LEADERSHIP WITH RESPECT TO DISPLAY OF FLAGS. Section 1052(d)(1)(N) of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2024 (Public Law 118-31; 10 U.S.C. 2661 note) is amended by striking subparagraph (N). The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 1287, the gentleman from Florida (Mr. Mills) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Florida.
