It is feasible. We tried that. I tried very hard in behalf of President Obama to get the Arab states to take steps in the direction of normalization, based on the Arab peace initiative, proposed initially by King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia.
That is a matter of some dispute. Some contend the administration does have the power to do so, and so that event could occur.
I rise today to honor this outstanding young man who was killed in the line of duty, and who has been awarded posthumously the Medal of Honor by President Clinton.
The reality that hundreds of thousands of our children are using them. Every American, not just baseball fans, ought to be shocked into action by that disturbing truth.
