Pratt & Whitney has been a critical part in the history of aviation in this country, and even today, Pratt & Whitney is still at the forefront of shaping advances in aviation. Their continued work on new technologies, like the geared turbofan engine, is advancing commercial aviation by reducing noise, fuel burn, and emissions like never before. I am very proud of the great work that has been done by those at Pratt & Whitney in my district for so many years.
