I want to thank all of you gentlemen for the great work that you are doing helping keep our Americans safe.

America's free market, capitalist system has produced some tremendous lifestyles and standards of living for millions of Americans.

What gives you the right, or anybody who works for you the right, or your agency the right, to tell businesses who are operating legally in this country...

I hope you will speak up, to make sure the pension fund business, the mutual fund business... won't be held under this umbrella because it will only hurt them.

I am very concerned that this wide net of Dodd-Frank is now about to engulf them and designate them as SIFI organizations.

I would also like to encourage you to resist any temptation from the Federal Reserve or the Department of Labor... it will only hurt the people we are trying to help.

The bloodline of our economy... is in part the financial services industry and the capital markets.

Everybody wants to make sure that our investors and our consumers are protected, but we also want to make sure that the folks that you bring before you also have a fair and honest process.

I would just encourage you, Mr. Ceresney, as you go through this process, to make sure you are looking out for these middle-class families who are trying to prepare for their retirement by being fair to the people who are brought before…
