Madam President, I intend to move, with the support of Mr. Blumenthal, Mr. Casey, Mrs. Shaheen, and Mr. Coons, that H.R. 1628 be committed to the Committee on Finance with instructions to report the same back to the Senate in 3 days, not counting any day on which the Senate is not in session, with changes that will support the promotion of maternal and child health, including the reduction of infant, child, and maternal mortality, through the use of home-visiting services by extending funding for maternal, infant, and early childhood home- visiting programs under section 511 of the Social Security Act, 42 USC 711, through the 10-year budget window. I request unanimous consent that this motion to commit be printed in the Record.
