This so-called deal with Russia will do little for America and much for Vladimir Putin as he seeks to sustain his murderous campaign on Ukraine.

The grave danger we now face is that the current administration has undermined both prongs of deterrence strategy in different theaters — a lack of will in Ukraine and a lack of capacity in Iran.

At the end of the day, this deal from the White House is an attempt to boost their short-term political prospects at the true cost of the American people.

Adding insult to injury, today’s deal is a slap in the face to every member of Congress who voted for the Lindsay Graham Sanctioning Russia and Iran Act just last month.
