Mr. President, I rise in support of this amendment and in support of the United States finally joining the civilized nations of the world in providing for family leave for our citizens. I know this amendment doesn't go as far as some would like, but I believe it is very credible, enforceable legislation that can move forward and really change the lives of thousands and millions of people across this country. I commend the Senator from Nebraska for bringing this amendment forward, and I intend to support it and urge my colleagues to do likewise. The PRESIDING OFFICER. The Senator from Wyoming.
