the remarks made by Mr. Muhammed at Kean College are deeply offensive to every American who abhors discrimination in all its ugly forms. America's motto is ``E Pluribus Unum''--Out of Many, One. We are at our strongest when we are united, free from the divisions caused by bigotry based on race, religion, or gender. The recent speech at Kean College sought to foster hatred, and to divide Americans one from the other. It ought to be condemned, and I am pleased to join Senator Danforth in sponsoring this amendment.
