This November, the torch will be passed again to a new generation of Americans. So with Barack Obama and for you and for me, our country will be committed to his cause. And the dream lives on.

I understand some people will forever define me by that day, and that is their right.

We believe that immigrants, like women and African Americans before them, have rights in this country, and the time is ripe for a new civil rights moment.
