If the locomotive engineers, security personnel, our dispatchers, our conductors, train workers and rail workers don't understand what our plan is in the event of an attack, then we really don't have a plan. Mr. Chairman, in light of the continued reports from our Nation's front line rail workers, I respectfully ask you to join me in sending a letter to the Amtrak Inspector General asking him to conduct a review of the current state of security training provided to front line Amtrak employees. It is my understanding that the Inspector General would welcome this responsibility.
