I have been on this committee now for over 20 years, and we had a grave problem in the mortgage and banking area.

That exposure did a lot, I think. It didn't fix everything, but it certainly moved the needle.

What we did in part was we gathered data on the banks, we looked at the investments they were making in minority areas.

This is probably one of the most pernicious problems that I deal with in our district.
