I don't think anybody was demeaning the work that people do, on this side. I think we were talking about the challenging nature of our economy. I don't think the gentleman would dispute the fact that the gig economy has created a downward pressure on wages. Mr. Speaker, I yield 2 minutes to the gentleman from Illinois (Mr. Danny K. Davis), the voice of Chicago and a well-known and well- regarded member of the Ways and Means Committee.
