I would really appreciate an education, an update on it because I actually think it is critically important.

Mike Capuano is a former U.S. Representative from Massachusetts, serving from 1999 to 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, he represented Massachusetts's 8th congressional district. During his tenure, Capuano was known for his advocacy on issues such as healthcare, education, and civil rights. He served on several committees, including the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, where he focused on infrastructure development and public transportation improvements in his district.
That is offensive to the American people because they see our Secret Service, GSA, they see the waste of the taxpayer dollars.
I believe I have something I want to put up on the screen. That is my political statement for the week.
I think we have a responsibility, I think we are doing it, and I think we should continue to do it.
Pursuant to the law itself, it does say that they can collect assessments equal to the total expenses of the Office, that is all the law says.
I will tell you, though, I agree with one of my colleagues when he said people who commit bad behavior should be jailed.
I share the frustration of some that a lot of the things from Dodd-Frank have taken so long to get going.
If you exceed some number that upsets us, that we think is excessive, we will call you on it.
So what you do, you may never know. No one may ever know if you actually prevent a bad occurrence.
