I think most of us here really want to be able to go home to our districts and say with a straight face that Department of Defense needs the resources that it needs and its accounting is in place and therefore, when they say they need something, there is not waste going on.

Thank you. And that is exactly why we need to be so careful when we are crafting these laws and why we have to ensure that ADPPA is as strong as it was in the last Congress, if not stronger.
Our bill fixes that. It puts real federal money on the table the moment an emergency like this hits, so no community has to face it alone.
It's worth reminding that a strong FTC is good for consumers, it's good for small businesses, certainly good for our economy.
