I don't think it was a surprise for anyone when I used the five environmental infrastructure requests that each Member was allotted to request authorizations of $20 million each to fix the CSOs in Lowell, Lawrence, Haverhill, Methuen, and Fitchburg.

As our committee discusses the failures that exist in other laws, we always need to be on the lookout to strengthen the legislation that we work on and pass today.
I do want to make sure we are keeping in mind any unintended consequences that may limit access to care because of the discussion drafts in the hearings today.
That's the level of attention that our parents and our students, frankly, deserve.
