People are going to die. These hospitals are going to close. Labor and delivery units are going to disappear.

I also think it is important that any Federal privacy law we consider must strive to end data-driven discrimination.

As our committee discusses the failures that exist in other laws, we always need to be on the lookout to strengthen the legislation that we work on and pass today.
