It is clear that the status quo is not tenable. We should not provide a blank check for military aid to any country that does not comply with US law, interests, and values. The Netanyahu government has failed to meet that standard.

I mean, shutdowns are terrible, and of course there will be, you know, families that are going to suffer. We take that responsibility very seriously. But it is one of the few leverage times we have.
We would have been in the majority if North Carolina hadn’t egregiously redistricted and eliminated three Democratic seats.
I will be voting yes, not because I agree with the entirety of the amendment, or the GOP's cynical motivations for its consideration, but because I believe we must change course.
