A Government of the people, by the people, and for the people is supposed to trust the people and the people should be able to trust our Government.

By encouraging lawsuits against FDA-approved medical devices, S. 540 would discourage companies from investing in innovative devices that are critically needed by senior citizens and other Americans.

I think that the proposal for reductions in emissions, air toxins from power plants, will have a significant effect on the burden both near the sites and long-distance from mercury and other toxics that are emitted from coal-fired power…

If S. 540 is enacted, juries will decide which innovative medical devices should be available on the market--instead of leaving that decision to the medical experts at the FDA.
