This was one of the worse mistakes I have ever seen Congress make. You always assume that in the crunch, people will do what's right for the country. And time and again, I have seen that and this was shockingly irresponsible.

With these rallies, we are staggering from one obscenity to the next, and it is very clear that the rally haven't helped him very much politically. His numbers have been going down since all this nonsense started.
